It has been a while. I was hoping that I could make the site start up again by it's 1st birthday, but that didn't work out. Sorry for that.

We're moving! Instead of revamping the whole site, we are moving to a new one, this time on proboards. (I apologize in advance if you are trying to read a thread you participated in but found that it has been deleted) The new site is still under development. Physical: Ardere Kasai stand at six feet tall, he is a lean muscular man with slicked back crimson colored hair. He has piercing yellow eyes he usually covers up with shades. He wears a white shirt, black leather jacket, fire ball necklace, jeans, and black shoes. He stand leisurely usually smoking a cigarette. His lean physique is due to lots of running and sword fighting with his grandfather. He usually keeps his hair slicked back or combed back, but when he is just sitting around his hair is long and fluffy. His signature piece of clothing is the black leather jacket, he sometimes wears other shirts, but if it's a decent temperature he will always wear the jacket. He would only take it off during a serious fight or a heat wave. The fire ball necklace is made of silver and he has a white watch he wears on special occasions.

Weapon: Spirit of Fire
Fighting Style: Hapkido and high speed single handed sword style.

Personality: Ardere is an anti social and solitary person until he becomes good friends with someone. He is very intelligent and observant, with a calm and laid back attitude. He is kind to his friends and will defend them, which is why he has so few. He doesnt think extremely highly of himself but he is confident he can accomplish his goals, and win the important fights. He doesnt get easily mad, but when he is mad, all hell breaks loose. He has a fiery temper when it's activated, but normally he is fairly 'chill'. He is the quiet kid in the class, not the one making outbursts. He can procrastinate a lot, but he usually gets his work done. He is dedicated to his training and will do what it takes to become a great huntsman. When he is fighting he becomes more serious and his eyes show it, it is a great contrast to his normal laid back self. He loves to read and fight grimm when he is allowed, mainly solitary things, but he would like to have a team and fight along side them.

Goals: His primary goal is to become the best huntsman he can be and kill as many grimm as possible, he made this promise after the death of his mother. His grandfather trained him to accomplish this goal.
Fears: Being Alone: After his mother died, he promised himself he would always have someone to be with him, to share his thoughts with.
Failure: He thinks that if he fails as a huntsman, then he has failed his mother. Since he promised to become a huntsman after her death.

Bad Habits: Smoking: He is smoking when not in class, he even does it during fights sometimes.
Procrastinating: He has a bad habit of turning things in at the last minute, it can get bad at times.

Likes: Fire: Ever since he was a kid he has had a fascination with fire, hence why his sword is the spirit of fire.
Cigarettes: He got addicted to smoking at an early age, and hasnt stopped since.
Reading: He is a solitary person until he makes friends, so he usually spends his time reading.

Dislikes: Snakes: When he was a child he was bit by a snake and almost died, ever since then he has hated them.
Ice: As a fire person his natural enemy is ice, he doesnt like the cold and most things associated with it.
Grimm: Most people hate Grimm, but after his mother died he developed a personal vendetta against them.

History: Birth: Ardere Kasai was born to to Fura and Roku Kasai, but his father left when he was just a baby. He does not know why and neither did his mother, his father just disappeared one day. His mother had to try several jobs just to raise her child. Growing up in a rough neighborhood he had to learn how to take care of himself in many ways and never really had any friends.

Childhood: Ardere had a rough childhood, his mother struggling to support him and always running into thugs. He stayed a good kid and a kind person, but he would defend himself and others if he had to. He usually spent his time trying to learn how to fight and reading any books that he could find. But one day his mother never came home, the police arrived at his house to tell him his mother was killed in a grimm attack. He had already been traumatized by a snake attack early on in his life, and this just worsened that. From this point on, he chose to be strong about any hardships he had, and would make sure he lead a good life.

Training: After his mother's death he was sent to live with his grandfather who was a middle class huntsman, a retired one. His grandfather had been a powerful huntsman and when the young man asked to learn how to fight, he gladly accepted. His grandfather was strict, but he was fair and loved his grandson always treating him right. He started smoking in his early teenage years, smoking daily. The cigarettes are made from a form of dust that doesnt harm the lungs like normal cigarettes do, they arent extremely healthy, but they arent as bad as the others. He wanted to live a decently long life, but he needed a way to relieve stress.

Motives: His mother's death caused him to make a promise, he would become a powerful huntsman and make friends along the way. He had never been a really social person, but he would try his hardest to get on a team and become successful. With his grandfather's training and the promise he made, he became very motivated.
