Hello everyone!

It has been a while. I was hoping that I could make the site start up again by it's 1st birthday, but that didn't work out. Sorry for that.

We're moving! Instead of revamping the whole site, we are moving to a new one, this time on proboards. (I apologize in advance if you are trying to read a thread you participated in but found that it has been deleted) The new site is still under development. So, if you are interested and want to get more information on the site like the progress on that, just send a pm to me.

Belle Reve has very pale skin, so pale that when one looks upon her skin very closely, they can see the larger veins under her skin, though she rarely lets anyone get that close to her. Her hair is a very bright pink color, as are her rami(Gill Stalks), which are located right behind her ears. She often hides her Rami in her hair, wether as one big ponytail, or as six individual pigtails.

She often wears a black shirt that have holes where her shoulders are, and sleeves reaching her wrists. She wears a long, white skirt that goes past her knees, and wears black leggings, finishing with white shoes.

Her skin and hair have the distinct look of being damp, even when she hasn't been near water. Her clothes only ever take on this appearance if she has been in water recently, as with any living creature.

Fighting Style: Belle Reve is not the first to attack, but is not the least impressive either. Her style is often less offensive, and more reactive. If an enemy lunges from the left, she leaps forward and to the right to avoid it. If she can, she will launch off her weapons ranged attack, and while distracted or disoriented, rush in close to attack in close range. If pressed in on by multiple foes, she will try to fend them off by swinging her chained ball in circles to hit any that get too close.

Personality:

Belle Reve loves to relax, and the best place for that? Water, of course. She is a happy, bubbly person, but when it comes to water, she just seems to melt all her worries away, and sometimes falls asleep due to how relaxed she is.

She likes to take things slow, whether its a class, project, getting to know someone, or anything else. If she can take her time and relax while doing it, she can get it done, just might not be in time for what you want it to be.

Though her level of bodily energy is seemingly low, she can think fast, and come up with cool ideas, as well as fight as well as any other student. She hates being picked on, and will run away if anyone starts to pull her hair or Rami, even if its an accident. Pulling her Rami is one of the few easy ways to make her cry.

* Make many human friends, and help bring peace between Humans and Faunus

History:

Born and raised in the kingdom of Mistral, Belle Reve spend much of her life trying to hide what she was from the human majority of the population. Her parents were foreigners, both from Atlas, and seeking a new life, even if it ment hiding who they were.

Her parents spent much of their time hiding that they were faunus to give their family a better life, often fleeing whenever someone discovered they were not human. Several of these times were caused by Belle Reve showing her new friends at school or daycare her Rami, gill stalks. This caused a panic, and reclassification several times, as they would run and try to set up as humans in another town, avoiding cities when possible.

She was eventually accepted into Haven academy, where she began learning from the many talented hunter professors, and many things, from mathematics to how the government was run, and even a little about the Grimm and Hunters. Belle Reve was enthralled by the stories, the heroic actions of the hunters and huntresses, and decided thats what she wanted to spend her life doing : Being a hero, and keeping the world safe from Grimm.

She did not even think that being a Faunus would hinder this dream in the slightest, though the secret was not kept for long after joining Haven Academy, and she could not simply leave now that she was in the academy. She pushed through the hate and and anger of those around her, even her teachers did not treat her better for it, but she did her best, and eventually did graduate.

She applied at once for other academies to further her huntress training, and was accepted by Beacon Academy in Vale. She did not spend much time after that in Mistral, but she was sad to leave her parents. Their lives had not been easier sense they could not leave while she was in the academy, but they had made their way, and now that she was leaving, and they were established as faunus where they were, they were not leaving. It was a goodbye much too quick, but a future that was hopefully full of fun, heroism, and adventure.
