It has been a while. I was hoping that I could make the site start up again by it's 1st birthday, but that didn't work out. Sorry for that.

We're moving! Instead of revamping the whole site, we are moving to a new one, this time on proboards. (I apologize in advance if you are trying to read a thread you participated in but found that it has been deleted) The new site is still under development. So, if you are interested and want to get more information on the site like the progress on that, just send a pm to me.

Physical:
Justus stands at 5’10” and weighs roughly 160 lbs. He does have a slightly pale like skin. Being a Faunus based on a lion, his hair is a golden tint. He shaved pretty often which is why he lacks his natural lion mane like hair. He is, after all, a fauna in hiding. He does have a pair of fangs which are noticeable enough that people describe them as “oddly larger”. To avoid suspicion he doesn’t smile often preventing people from seeing his fangs. Justus always wears his blinder like headgear preventing people from seeing his damaged eyes. (see history). Without his blinder, his eyes are pure white with cut like scars that run over his damaged eyes. Of course Justus doesn’t know what it looked like but from what doctors have told him, it was recommended that he wear the blinder in order to not scar people around him. Even when he is sleeping, he wears a cloth blinder rather than his bulkier combat blinder. His combat uniform usually combines light chainmail and plate armor to provide him with decent mobility.

Fighting Style: Justus prefers to keep at range when in combat. His combat style is heavily reliant on his surroundings. Preferable, he would want two other people with him as most of his abilities learn towards team/partner based combat. Tactically, he usually serves a silent support fighter with some range capabilities though he prefers to serve as a support type role then a damage based role which is why few have seen him use his blinder for combat purposes.

Personality: A Faunus in hiding, Justus can be described as a silent introvert. His secretive nature is mainly due to his past. He doesn’t trust many people and even though he sees himself as servant to the innocent, he also sees them similarly to a flame. Beautiful and frail but if to close can burn. Justus’s blindness is proof of this. For a man spiteful of people, especially humans, he channels that anger towards defeating those who wronged the innocent. Being a lion Faunus, he had made great leaps in order to hide his heritage. In a way it’s his defense mechanism. Despite his tough attitude, he can be scared of being vulnerable. He made a vow never to show fear and pain like he did when he was younger. His secretive nature is also the reason why very few people understand how his abilities work.

Seriousness aside, he does perform some activities and hobbies that keeps his mind off the more serious aspects of his life. Despite his tough demeanor, he does enjoy gardening. In a field of plants and flowers, the Aura generated from the plants allow him to “see” the full physical features of a person, kind of like if someone was standing a floor of light, plants tend to illuminate his world which is why he likes to garden. They serve as his light in the dark world he lives in. This is also why he prefers to do combat in the forests rather than in the desert.

Goals:To purge the world of evil, specifically a hunter of criminal Human and Faunus but he tends to leave that part out when people ask.
Fears:
Being vulnerable and helpless- Never again will Justus be seen in the state he was when he was a young hunter hopeful. His past has scared him physically and mentally and he vowed never to show such weakness again.
Failure- Being unable to complete his missions. Justus never takes failure as an option. By failing, he is showing others that he is not capable of carrying out his responsibilities as a Hunter.

Bad Habits: Tendency to squeeze items when angary or nervous. He also has a bad habit of placing his hand under his chin as if he is thinking when really he just misses having his lion mane.
Likes: Quiet, Gardening, and Nature Hikes
Dislikes: Books (can’t read when you can’t see), Loud obnoxious music, Children/teens (mainly because their loud and obnoxious)

History: Justus was born into a small family of Faunus who lived on the outskirts of Vale. For the most part, he lived a normal life for a Faunus boy his age. Both his mother and father were well respected activists in the community for Faunus rights. Their affiliation with the White Fang ran pretty deep because of this. However this would all change during one of the protests that they were taking part of. According to reports, an accident explosion occurred in one of the gas trucks parked near the protest stage. But Justus knew better. His parents were targets for anti-Faunus rights groups. Was it coincidence that the explosion so happened when both his father and mother were passing? When the explosion occurred, both his mother and father were killed and he was blinded from the blast. Healers and medical personal tried to save Justus vision, but by the time they got to him, it was too late.

He would then be placed under the care of his now former mentor, Han Astrea. Han was a close friend of Justus father. A Faunus as well, both Han and Zee were near inseparable as friends. It wouldn’t be until Han became a Hunter did they become more distant. Regardless as to why they stopped talking, when Han heard of the news of his best friend’s death, he immediately made his way to not only pay his respects to Justus’s parent’s deaths but to also adopt Justus as his own.

Though difficult to accept that his parents were now dead and he had lost his sight, Han helped guided him through by training him. Han was a strict hunter always making Justus study and train. Han figured to help ease the pain but also to make Justus stronger, Han needed to train him in the arts of utilizing his Aura to greater levels. Unknown to Justus, his mother Themir was a former huntress and she was quite skilled in using her Aura. Han knew this, and wondered if this trait was passed down. And of course, genetics never failed. In combination of his blindness and strong Aura, Justus discovered his semblance. He developed his first weapon under Han’s instructions. Though it was difficult at first, blindness did not help, Justus was able to learn to create his weapon, his blinder. Since Han didn’t help him physical make his weapon, Han wanted Justus to create his own weapon with his own style rather than Hans, and he did guide him in the philosophy and Law. Besides regular training, Han’s also taught him in these respective subjects. It was something his parents were passionate about and it would only be right for Justus to know the legal process of the world, that and if Justus was to ever get into any group with the law he would know loops wholes out of it if say he “went on a vengeance rampage”. It was no secret that Han was training Justus to be a hunter. But Han wasn’t training Justus to hunt monsters but people. Han wanted to bring those who had killed Justus's parents to Justice and with Justus's ability, they had couple easily track people down. Han also taught him to hide his Faunus appearance. The world is not ready for a Faunus hunting other people especially humans. Justus would have to pass as a human in order not to rouse up any more antiFunaus platforms.

When he was ready, he joined Beacon Academy under Han’s special request and recommendation. That was the last Justus ever heard from Han again. During his training at Beacon, he honed his skills. And though he had met people during his time at the Academy and made a couple friends, he mostly kept to himself however. Cautious of others, the explosion had made Justus quite antisocial and distrusting of others. Even he didn’t fully trust Han when he was being trained by his mentor. He graduated Beacon Academy and was promoted to the statues of Hunter. Of course he carried out his regular duties as a Hunter, but he also began to do research as to who killed his parents. Night after night he would search throughout the kingdoms for his targets. The hunters had become the hunted according to Justus’s account. Hunters, politicians, teachers, merchants, the people who were involved in the explosion where hunted down one by and eliminated.

After a couple years of hunting he crossed off the last person on the list. But it was odd. Something didn’t feel right. Justus reflected on what he had done. Was justice served? Regardless, now that his life’s goal had been finished what was left? To hunt monsters? He self-reflected for the next month or so in isolation. In the end he came to the conclusion that his original goal, his childhood goal was never reached. That he had set aside his dream for closure for his family’s death. HE then set out the next part of his journey, to rid the world of those who were evil and wicked but also to provide his knowledge and training to the younger generation of students. To help fulfill their goals and aspirations. After all, what was the point of defending the world if there was nothing left in the world to defend?

Just a few grammatical errors including the spelling of Faunas as Faunus. (I know it's what Monty says, but it's still technically incorrect.) But nothing major at all. So, therefore I'll give you this.
