RWBY News #33 | Tue Apr 21, 2015 2:45 am by Echo Valorient | Hello everyone!
It has been a while. I was hoping that I could make the site start up again by it's 1st birthday, but that didn't work out. Sorry for that.
We're moving! Instead of revamping the whole site, we are moving to a new one, this time on proboards. (I apologize in advance if you are trying to read a thread you participated in but found that it has been deleted) The new site is still under development. So, if you are interested and want to get more information on the site like the progress on that, just send a pm to me.
If you are looking for a thread or any threads had been deleted, just send me a pm as well.

| Weapon Name: Grimm Reminder Weapon Type: Chainsaw Sword Dust Type: Ice Weapon Appearance: - Spoiler:
Grimm Reminder is a sword of incredible height and massive weight, standing at a height of 6'2". Red and black being its main color scheme, it gives off a feeling of malice merely looking at it. Its most notable design is the spikes protruding from the bladed areas. Part of a chain linked and attached to the sword, these spikes will move in a continuous motion at high speeds like a chainsaw upon the pressing of a switch which activates a small motor inside the sword. It has a cross symbol on it which looks similar to a nuclear symbol, with merely one more part added to it. Only its owner would know the significance of this symbol. Weapon Functions: Mostly does exactly as it looks like it would: shred enemies to pieces with the recklessness of a warrior and the brutality of a lumberjack slicing trees with a chainsaw. It requires great strength to wield, and as such a specific and strict training regiment is set up for the wielder of this weapon to ensure they can use it to the best of their ability. It does have one lesser known function, however. Upon placing an ice Dust vial into a secret compartment on the pommel of the blade, turning on the chainsaw part of the blade will initiate a mode in which icy cold air will begin to surround the blade. Slashing while this mist surrounds it will solidify it into ice, going with the movements of the sword. This allows for much more versatility than originally thought, and even the possibility for ranged attacks where it would previously be impossible. Attacks: - Silver Salmon:
Type: Single/AOE Description: The user jumps into the air, and when above the target, descends with the blade aiming to lunge at them.
If used while an ice Dust vial is in use, the impact will cause four spikes of ice (one in front, behind, and to the left and right of the user) to surround the area in a five meter diameter all around. Being hit by these spikes at their initial arrival will deal damage equivalent to half of what it would be if they were hit by the sword directly.
Advantages: A strong impact attack from above that can do slight AOE damage with Dust.
Disadvantages: Being in the air would obviously be a vulnerable point where a counter-attack can be launched.
- Stone Cold Crasher:
Type: Single Description: The user slams their sword into the ground, and starts the chainsaw. The blades will rip up the ground, sending chunks of earth forward towards the desired target.
If used with an ice Dust vial, chunks of ice will spew out with the ground for additional damage. Said ice chunks are also pointy.
Advantages: A mid to long range attack for a weapon where there are very obviously few options. Forces the opponent to move lest they like being covered in dirt, rocks and potentially ice.
Disadvantages: In the grand scheme of things, chucking rocks and ice at someone isn't the most intimidating or powerful attack in the world. As it also requires digging the weapon into the ground, the user leaves themselves open to some of the faster opponents.
