Physical: Cassandra is of average height and thin build for a younger woman, standing only slightly above the average height of Beacon’s female students at 5’9”. She’s thin, but not overly so, with gentle yet noticeable curvature in the hips, back, shoulders, and legs, and subtly defined muscle in the leg and upper arm areas. Her skin is pale, frighteningly so, and smooth and unmarred in visible areas (though she has plenty of scars hidden beneath her clothing; dust experimentation is not without its hazards). Her hair is long and straight, reaching down to her waist, and is a shimmering, midnight black, with her bangs squared off above the eyes in a traditional hime cut. She has heterochromia, which rendered her left eye a striking crimson color, and her right a pale, milky white. Her features are petite, young, and very smooth, many referred to her appearance as that of a porcelain doll when she was small. Her clothing is simple yet elegant, a slim white karate gi adorns the top of her body and hangs just below her pockets, tied with a silk black sash at her waist. On the lower half, she wears a simple pair of dark gray skinny jeans and a pair of black flats. Her sword and sheath hang from her sash on her right side, and her throwing knives are strapped to her left thigh for quick and effortless access.

Her eyesight is rather poor because of past exposure to dust, and thusly she requires corrective lenses. While she usually opts for contacts, continued exposure can corrode them and render them useless, so every so often she may switch back to her plain old wire-rim glasses.

Fighting Style: Cassandra fights in a graceful and meticulous way, almost as if she were dancing. Her movements are completely fluid and flow together effortlessly, her mind works so quickly and efficiently that it allows her to act without pause. She's ruthless and quick, almost like a machine. She uses every advantage she has, no matter how "sneaky" or "underhanded" it may seem to others. Nothing is above utilization for her.

Personality: Cassandra is cold, calculating, intense, and very, VERY strict. She prides herself on her attention to detail and thoroughness in her work, and expects the same of her students - often on a level which is deemed “unreasonably high” by students and staff alike. She’s distant and short with Pretty much everyone, an attitude which she seems to think is more professional than the happy-go-lucky and overly friendly outlook of many of her colleagues. She’s not one to jump to conclusions, she’ll analyze a situation from each possible angle from making her final judgement, a quality many say is compassionate, though she says it’s just logical. She’s not above a random act of kindness or a act of true compassion, though if you dared to ever confront her with it, she’d likely paralyze you with a dust-based toxin and threaten to castrate you with a chain-saw made from your own teeth. Few people are close to her nowadays, but she’s considerably more friendly towards these people, her cold and distant demeanor usually replaced with a quiet but warm and inviting sort of smile, like a mother would give to her children.
Goals: “Presently, I’m content with passing my knowledge of dust to the younger generation. My goals as scientist have already been fulfilled.”
Fears:
1. Being Touched - She has this thing about people touching her, it’s best not to ask about it.
2. Failure - Cassandra was raised in a household where failure was brutally punished, and to this day she’s terrified of failing.
Bad Habits:
1. Lecturing - She has a bad habit of going on and on and on in her lectures, often going off on tangents which will eat up class time quickly (for her, and no one else).
2. Working - When she’s working in her natural element, her lab, she can often become overly absorbed in her work. She’ll unconsciously ignore any outside influences - including students and other teachers.
Likes:
1. Dust - Her line of work, the thing she has devoted most of her life to. How could she not like it?
2. Coffee - After years and years of all-nighters and early mornings, she’s developed an appreciation for a good, strong cup of black coffee.
3. Classical Music - Secretly, Cassandra enjoys dancing. Classical music is her favorite music to listen to, and can often set her off into a short session of ballet.
Dislikes:
1. Back Talk - She’ll publicly humiliate students who talk back to her. She HATES having her authority questioned.
2. Sitting - Cassandra is a restless woman, sitting around and doing nothing is not something she can easily do.
3. Spicy Things - She can’t handle spicy. At all.

History: Cassandra Kokinos was born the only child of Argus and Marina Kokinos, the owners of one of the largest Vale-based dust companies in the world. As their only daughter, it was expected that Cassandra would take over the family business after her parents had retired, and as a result she was held up to a high standard. She was put into a private school for gifted children, and excelled at her studies for years on end, along with displaying a nigh-unbeatable skill in combat. She was a prodigy, on a level far above her fellow students.

For the most part, she found school incredibly boring - with the exception of chemistry. She enjoyed studying and learning all that her chemistry teacher had to offer them, especially as it related to dust. Oftentimes, she would go with her father to visit the mines and refineries on business trips, and she would often steal small samples of dust for her own personal use. Back at home, she would study these samples and mix them in different ways, hoping to create something interesting. She learned more through experimentation than she ever did in school. She graduated at the young age of 15, her perfect grades and no-nonsense attitude allowing her to finish her schooling as a scholar and Huntress years before her colleagues - and STILL at the top of her class. Unfortunately, this was also around the time that her parents discovered her little “experiments”. Her father, of course, was incredibly angry, but his mother saw things in a different light. She saw a sort of passion and intelligence for Dust that she had only ever seen in her grandfather’s eyes, in the years he worked to build up the company.

Cassandra’s parents discussed amongst themselves for a while, and in the end elected to send her to college to study Dust in-depth. She did, for five years, and obtained her doctorate in Dustology at the youngest age anyone had ever obtained a doctorate in that field. After she graduated, she began her private experiments and studies once again, hoping to tackle a more mysterious subject - Synthetic Dust. At the time, Synthetic Dust was considered to be highly dangerous and near useless, but Cassandra, through hard work, experimentation, and a LOT of explosions, single-handedly proved to the world that Synthetic Dust was nothing to be feared and, in the right hands, could prove to be as useful as, if not more useful than, natural Dust. The scientific community labelled her an Expert in the field of Synthetic Theory, the only expert in that field. Years after her accomplishments as a scientist, she applied for a job at Beacon Academy as a professor, hoping to pass on her vast knowledge of Dust to a younger generation.

Subject of Expertise: AP Dustology - The study of Dust and Dust-based compounds and objects. Learn a variety of applications for Dust along with how it can perform such feats. Students will learn advanced theories, such as Compound Theory and Synthetic Theory.
